Baden Retirement Plan Services is an independent third party administrator (TPA) that helps employers (plan sponsors) decide on the most appropriate plan design for a tax qualified defined contribution plan, generically known as a 401(k) plan or an employee retirement plan. Working together, sometimes along with the financial advisor, we discuss the employer’s goals, the current available design options, how the required compliance testing will be effected, and an estimate of the financial and human resources available to implement and support the plan. This discussion is critical for setting up a new plan and for converting a plan to a new design or different investments.
