Pre-2009 403(b) plan Form 5500 Relief

FAB 2010-01, recently released by the Department of Labor (DOL), answers many questions about Form 5500 filing relief for 403(b) plans with pre-2009 assets, according to a Technical Update posted on the SungardRelius.com website.

 

The Technical Update lists the 4 requirements a 403(b) contract must meet to be considered a "pre-2009" contract.  It also provides other highlights of FAB 2010-01, which is an update to FAB 2009-02, regarding pre-2009 contracts.
