            Fort Wayne, Indianapolis—February 26, 2010--Baden Retirement Plan Services (Baden), an Ascensus company, and one of the largest independent regional third party administrators in the Midwest, announces that Thomas R. Ackmann has been named Vice President in charge of the company and Jamie L. Mitchell has been promoted to Manager of Baden’s daily valuation/multi-fund open architecture service area.

            Tom Ackmann joined Baden in 1998 as a Manager after relocating to Fort Wayne, Indiana from the Chicago area where he was a Project Leader at Hewitt Associates in Lincolnshire, Illinois. He became managing director of the company in 2007 with increased responsibilities for client relations, operations, sales and marketing for the company’s Fort Wayne and Indianapolis offices. As Vice President, he will lead efforts to increase sales throughout the United States with the support of Regional Vice Presidents from Baden’s parent company, Ascensus, one of the largest retirement plan solutions providers in the nation.

            Jamie Mitchell has twenty years experience in the retirement plan industry with four accounting/retirement services firms. She is responsible for overseeing Baden’s daily valuation services for 401(k) and 403(b) plans that allow plan sponsors and employees to view and manage their retirement accounts through the company’s secure website or by telephone. She also consults with clients regarding plan design, assists them with their day-to-day retirement plan activity, and performs compliance tests required by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the Department of Labor (DOL).
